About Zak

Life can feel like too much. You might be going through something painful, or maybe nothing specific has happened—but everything still feels hard. Perhaps you’re struggling to focus, feeling numb, or constantly second-guessing yourself. Therapy isn’t about having the right words. It’s about not having to figure it all out by yourself.

I’m Issaka (or Zak), an integrative therapist based in the UK with over four years of experience. I work with adults across the world who bring a wide range of challenges—whether you're feeling lost, stuck, numb, or simply in need of a space where you don’t have to hold everything together.

My approach is collaborative and respectful. I won’t tell you what to do or rush you toward quick solutions. Instead, I’ll support you to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and help you develop tools that feel meaningful, not generic. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, restore clarity, and move toward what feels more true for you.

I draw from a range of approaches, including Humanistic therapy, Jungian-informed perspectives, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe that therapy works best when it's tailored to the person in front of me—not a one-size-fits-all formula. I aim to meet you where you are, with empathy, depth, and care.

Speaking about emotional pain can feel risky. But in doing so, you begin the slow, brave process of making sense of things. Over time, fears and anxieties can soften. Self-trust can grow. And the parts of you that feel broken or buried can be met with compassion, not judgment.
